Support Veterans Memorial's New Semi Trailer
The Veterans Memorial Screaming Eagle Band is looking to make the purchase of a customized trailer to add to our fleet.
Currently, the band rents 3-4 box trucks to move all of our equipment each week for football games, marching band contests, and various community events. The use of multiple box trucks is a logistical strain on the program as we are always in need of multiple drivers. The trucks are also not designed to properly and safely transport our expensive equipment.
With your help, we will purchase a semi-trailer configured to safely and efficiently transport essential instruments and equipment to all our band events near and far, creating opportunities for Veterans Memorial Band students for many years to come.
Trailer Features
Our trailer would be outfitted with innovative features that creatively utilize the 4,200 cubic feet within a typical 53-foot moving van, creating a safe, effective, and efficient use of all available space.

Interior/Exterior Lighting- Our trailer would come equipped with main deck and 2nd floor LED lighting. These low voltage, high-efficiency, low-profile lights provide plenty of illumination for late night load out. Additionally, there will be powerful LED flood lights to illuminate our surrounding area.

Split Entry Layout- the layout features a customizable, full-height upper deck. This allows easy flow from the side-entry door into the front nose deck area, through upper deck to the rear, and out the rear doors via ramps. In this layout, the main deck is used for transporting all rolling, front ensemble equipment, while the upper deck is typically an open floor plan used for transporting field percussion and larger wind and brass instruments.

Powered Ramp- a full-width, powered ramp system with a simple 1-burton deployment and retraction operation, will allow incredible flexibility for loading and unloading booth floors. The ramp folds up to its transport position just inside the rear doors, taking up minimal space.

Guard Drawers- The drawers are set on full-length slides in the belly boxes and can each hold up to 25 fill guard bags.

Uniform Racks- enough storage for up to 200 band uniforms.

Customized Shelving- storage for our entire drumline and all large woodwind and brass instruments.
